Umrah is a pious journey and is a voluntary pilgrimage that can be performed by the Muslims who have sources to perform it. However, in the year 2020 it was suspended due to the outbreak of pandemic (covid 19). But after a suspension of Umrah for about two years for India and other countries Saudi authority has reopened the Islamic holy sites for Umrah.

The M.D of Khidmati Safar has said with the hope from the past few days we were geared up with the latest Umrah Packages and by the grace of Allah we were ready to land on the Holy Land. But due to the surge in the Covid 19 new protocols have been revised by the Saudi government. Due to this reason we have abandoned our Umrah Group for now as for Khidmati Safar the health and the safety of our pilgrims are our main concern.

As international flights were Banned in India from March 2020, now Special International Flights have been allowed under the Air Bubble Agreement between India and around 18 countries. Indians can now travel to the 18 Countries as the Minister of Civil Aviation has established the air bubble agreement with these nations. The 18 Countries where Indians Can Travel include France, Germany, Iraq, Japan, Kenya, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Canada, Maldives, Nigeria, Oman, Qatar, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates UAE), United Kingdom (UK), United States of America (USA).

However, the passengers must Confirm their entry before making a Reservation to the above-mentioned countries.

In a Virtual Meeting with Saudi Arabia on 8/12/2021 air bubble meeting was held. As per discussion the terms and conditions were Conveyed to the General Civil Aviation Authority (GACA), Saudi Arabia. GACA vide Email has agreed to the proposed terms and conditions. Similarly, the competent authority had approved the Creation of an air bubble between India and Saudi Arabia w.e.f 1st January 2022.

Applicants who have filled the Hajj form for Hajj Trainers are hereby informed that the interview for the Trainers of Hajj 2022 shall be held from Today i.e. 23/12/2021 from 11:00 Am as per the schedule.

Interviews for Hajj Trainers from Srinagar, Baramulla, Bandipora, Ganderbal, and Budgam are scheduled for 23/12/2021 from 11:00 am onwards.

Similarly, Interviews for Hajj Trainers from Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian, Kupwara, and Pulwama are scheduled for 24/12/2021 from 11:00 am onwards.

However, Interviews for Hajj Trainers from Jammu Division and Ladakh UT shall be held through Virtual Mode.

Modification has been made in the guidelines of performing Hajj by HcoI. Now the pilgrims above 70 years can fill the Online Hajj form under the reserved category. But before filling the form under reserved category there are certsin requirements which are needed to adhere to. Some of them are mentioned below:
1. The applicant who had never perform hajj in his/her entire life neither from HCoI nor any private Hajj tour operator can fill the Hajj form.
2. If the number of applicant exceeds above the quota alloted, draw of lots can be conducted.
3. The applicant need to submit the solemn declaration on the plain paper along with his / her signature.
4. The registration of the applicant will get finalize only after the verifiction of documents and details by SHC and HCoI.
5. The applicant who were born on or before 31 May 1952 are eligible to fill the online form.
6. In order to fill the form for Hajj companion is MUST. Companion can be husband, wife, brother, sister, daughter or grand son, Grand daughter or son in law, Daughter in law or nephew or niece. The companion other than that will not be allowed to travel.

In order to perform Umrah there were different protocols which were laid by the Saudi Government which were need to follow. Among them was the room sharing of 2 person only, on the basis of which Umrah Package cost increases tremendously. But now in the latest announcement by Hajj and Umrah information center hotel rooms have been made fully functional and is applicable in both Makkah and Madina. Now in hotel, pilgrims will get accomodation in a same manner provided before Covid 19. And by making hotels fully functional will lower the Umrah Packages cost also.

Now those whose age are below 12 can perform Umrah,"said by the Minister of Hajj and Umrah". The people below 12 whether from the kingdom or outside of the kingdom can obtain Umrah permit, and will be able to pray in the Grand Mosque, and can also visit to the Ziyarats as well. But the only condition is that the pilgrims should be fully vaccinated and need to follow the protocols laid by the saudi government.

Umrah Visa Price is based on the policies and the procedure led by Saudi Arabia. Every Year there is a Hike in the Price of Umrah Visa, so is the Umrah Visa price hike this year. Male/Female Applicants Of Age 25-58 Years As Of 31.12.2021 Are Eligible To Apply Online As Trainer.

• If a person has Criminal records he/she will not be selected.
• A person applying for Haj Trainer must have got a vaccination of two doses of approved vaccine against Covid-19.
• A person applying for Haj Trainer must have performed a Haj preferably during the years 2017, 2018, and 2019.
• A person applying for Haj Trainer must be fully well up on and fluent in English Urdu Hindi/local language.
• A person applying for Haj Trainer must possess a thorough knowledge of logistics and rituals of Hajj & Umrah.
• A person applying for Haj Trainer must be mentally and physically fit to impart training.
• A person applying for Haj Trainer must be capable of addressing/giving lectures to relatively large gatherings.
• A person applying for Haj Trainer must be computer literate and efficient enough to receive/transmit the latest information/messages through email WhatsApp and other available sources of E-Media.

The authority of civil aviation has decided to extend the ban on the commercial international flights till 31 january 2022. However this ban is not applied to international all-cargo operations as well as for the flight approved by DGCA said in sources.
However Saudi lifts Umrah ban for India and has issued Umrah visas as well. But due to the ban on international flights in India Umrah can`t be carried before 31 january as the ban has been extended on international flights till 31 january 2022.

Saudi Arabia had Lifted the Umrah ban but had set certain rules among which was the Quarantine Rule for its pilgrims. Now with the passage of time, Saudi Lifts the quarantine rule as well for the pilgrims who had Done their covid vaccine. Now the pilgrims who have done their 2 Doses Of Covid Shield Vaccine can perform Umrah without any hurdle and pilgrims can also pray in Masjid Nabvi as well. For now, India had Not Set the international flights yet. But all the pilgrims, as well as the tour operator, are waiting for the day when it will get completely Resumed.
