What is the maximum age limit for Umrah

Umrah is a journey of spirituality and one among the holy and the pious journeys in Islam. Umrah is a voluntary act but has many benefits and rewards. Umrah is just an exercise of 2-3 hours and in those hours you can complete your Umrah journey with ease. In order to perform there are four major steps that you need to done and that is:

Ihram: The first and the most important thing are to wear Ihram. Ihram is specific for males but women can wear any dress and can do the intention of Ihram. For men Ihram is two piece white cloths that are needed to be worn by male while doing intentions for Umrah or Hajj. Tawaf: It means circulating the Kabba seven times in an anticlockwise direction. From Hajri Aswad to Hajri Aswad makes one circle. While performing Tawaf you have to do Iztiba and Istilam as well.
Saii: Saii means walking back and forth on the hills of Safa and Marwa seven times. Saii starts from Safa and a walk from Safa to Marwa marks one round. So, on the last round of Saii you would be at Marwa. It usually took 10 minutes to complete Saii. Halaq or kasr: This is the last step that marks the end of your Umrah journey. Halaq means shaving of your head while Kasr means cutting your hair. Men can do anything either they can shave their head or even can trim their head however, ladies also have to cut their hair but that should be equal to a fingertip.
In order to perform Umrah there is nothing like maximum age limit for Umrah or minimum age limit for Umrah however, it all depends on the Saudi Government. If we talk about the year 2021 when a pandemic hit the world that very time there had been restrictions in the Umrah. Children below the age of 18 were not allowed in the Masjid Al Haram. So after a year there was ease in visiting the Masjid Al Haram. So basically there is nothing like maximum age or minimum age limit for Umrah but it completely depends on the Government of Saudi Arabia. However, as per Islam, a person can perform Umrah as much as they can afford and that too at any time but if a person wants to perform Hajj they can also perform it as many as they have resources but Hajj can be performed in a specific time i.e. in the month of Zil Hajjah. So Hajj can be performed once in a year but Umrah can be performed throughout the year except those of the Hajj days.
