Before Boarding for the Hajj journey. Some of them are as under :
- Yellow fever
All travellers arriving at the kingdom from countries or areas at risk of yellow fever must present a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate. The vaccination should be done before10 days or 10 years before arrival to the kingdom.
- Meningococcal Meningitis
All the travellers travelling to the kingdom need to have a dose of Meningococcal Meningitis in order to get protected against meningitis.
- Seasonal Flu Shot
You should get your Seasonal Flu Shot done to protect yourself from severe influenza diseases.
- Pneumococcal Vaccine
This vaccine is recommended to adults aged 65 and above. A person suffering from any of the diseases like diabetes or a lung, kidney, liver, or heart disease, or those who have a weak immune system must do this vaccine almost 2 weeks before their Hajj journey.
