How Old Is The Kaaba

Kabba was built by Ibrahim (A.S) and His son Ismail (A.S) while returning to the valley of Makah. It was the Command from Allah that was carried by both Father Ibrahim (A.S) and HIS son Ismail (A.S). The Kabba is a Cube-shaped structure that is covered with the Silk Cloth known as Kiswah that is of black color having Quranic Verses embedded on it with the gold and silver threads. Kabba has undergone several changes but in the present era, it has been Expanded, in order to occupy more pilgrims as millions of pilgrims, perform Umrah and Hajj rituals every year. Muslims pray five-time prayers facing toward it which is known as the Qibla (direction).

Kabba is the Holiest Place for Muslims across the globe. Muslims across the globe are required to visit the Kabba Once in their lifetime in order to perform Umrah/Hajj. Umrah is a voluntary deed however, Hajj is among the Five Pillars of Islam and is mandatory to perform by the Muslims who are capable i.e. who are Financially Sound and Physically Fit. Hajj is performed in a specific month from 8th Dul Hajj to 12th Dul Hajj on the last month of the Islamic calendar Dul- Hijjah. Hajj is for the 5 days in which you have to complete the Hajj rituals completely and in the remaining days, you get a chance to visit the holiest places of Makah and Medina as well.

Although, Umrah is a voluntary deed but has its own importance in Islam. Umrah has many Benefits as well as Rewards and one of the biggest rewards is performing Umrah in the month of Ramadan. It is said by the Prophet (S.A.W) whoever performs Tawaf in the month of Ramadan is considered as if you perform Tawaf with ME (P.B.U.H). And also performing Umrah in the month of Ramadan has the same rewards as that of Hajj. However, Hajj is an important deed that needs to be carried out by Muslims once in their entire lifetime.
