Hajj Age Limit
Hajj is the Fifth Pillar of Islam and is Mandatory to carry once in the lifetime of every Muslim who is Capable of doing Hajj i.e. a person who is Financially Capable and Physically Able. Hajj is mandatory whereas Umrah is voluntary but Umrah Can`tact as a Substitute for Hajj. Both Hajj and Umrah have their Own Benefits and importance in Islam and if a person is able to Perform Both Hajj and Umrah they can. But if a person has sources in which Umrah can be done they should do that and if they are Not Able to perform Hajj it`s ok as Allah says Hajj is Obliged for the one who has Sources to perform it.
As Hajj is mandatory so there is No Specific Hajj age limit nor specific Hajj Age Restriction for anyone who wants to perform Hajj i.e. whether for men, women, or children. Any children or adults can perform Hajj as soon as they are Capable as life is uncertain and anything could happen so if a person is financially capable and physically able they should Carry Hajj as soon as possible.
But if we talk about the Pandemics or Epidemics that can take place anytime anywhere then there could be Certain Restrictions while performing Hajj. Like if we talk about Covid 19 that very time only the age group between 18 To 65 were allowed to perform Hajj with the condition of having Covid vaccine done. The Hajj pilgrims at that time were used to following all the Protocols and all the rules and regulations said by the Saudi Government. So if there Arises any problem only then there can be Hajj Age Limit otherwise anyone can perform it at any age.
