How To Apply Passport For Government Employees

A passport is a Valid Document that is required in order to Travel Abroad. Without a valid passport, you can`t travel to any other country as a Passport is a valid document through which you can travel to any country. However, applying for a passport is the Same whether you are a government employee, businessman, or a local person. The procedure for applying for a passport remains the same but there can be some up`s and down in the policies and procedures for applying for the passport.

In order to apply for a passport as a Government Employee, you need to follow some steps mentioned below.
Step 1: Open the Passport Seva portal. Once you open the passport portal there will be a Drop-down List and among that, you have to Click on the New user registration

Step 2: Once you click on the New User Registration you will be provided with a Form that you need to fill and after the proper filling of the form click on the register button to submit your form.

Step 3: After submitting the form you will be provided with the login Id and password.

Step 4: Once you receive the login id and password you need to submit that on the login page of the passport Seva website.
Step 5: After logging in you will have a list such as View Saved/Submitted applications, Apply for Fresh Passport/Re-issue of Passport, Apply for Police Clearance Certificate, Apply for Diplomatic/Official Passport, and much more.

Step 6: Among the drop-down list you need to click on the link which you need to apply for. As for now, we are applying for a passport so we need to click on the Apply for Fresh Passport. After clicking on the Apply for Fresh Passport you will be redirected to the Passport Type where you can choose your Passport type i.e. either applying for fresh or reissue of passport. Then you need to fill in the personal information as per the valid documents.

Step 7: After filling the form you will be redirected to the payment page where you have to pay the fee online. You just have to pay Rs 1500/ person as the fee for the passport is the same for all the people.

Step 8: Once your payment status is confirmed you can make an appointment at your convince.

After making an Appointment you have to Visit the PSK along with the Documents and Appointment Receipt. If you are an educated person you have to take a Photocopy as well as the Original Matriculation Certificate and Adhar Card along with you at the time of PSK visit. Once you visit the PSK you have to make sure to be On Time otherwise your appointment will get canceled.

Once all the formality in the PSK is done, you will be provided with the Enrolment Receipt. For government employees, they have to take the enrolment receipt to their Department and had to make a Solicitation for NOC. Then the NOC submitted by the department will be sent to the vigilance office for your verification. After the verification by vigilance, and the concerned police station is done your passport will get Dispatched and you will be able to receive your Passport from the Concerned Post Office. Once you receive the passport make sure each Detail-filled is correct because your passport remains valid for 10 years.
Once you receive your passport you will be able to Travel to any country or if you are willing to Perform Umrah Or Hajj you can do that too. In order to perform Hajj/Umrah, you can visit any Umrah/Hajj tour operator and can book your Umrah/Hajj journey.
